June Moore is a native Texan. Born on the Texas
Gulf coast, she has lived throughout California for the
last 25+ years and has traveled many parts of the world,
including many parts of Europe, UK, Israel, and the
Middle East capturing these places through her camera
lens every step of the way. She has kept grounded on the
West Coast because of her love of the sea and the beauty
of the Yosemite Valley and this greatly affects her art and photography. She has
been a photographer since childhood, it runs in her
family, and she still has the photos taken by her
grandfather of the Texas oil fields in the early 1900's.
She is a self taught digital/acrylic artist and has been
a lover of art since early childhood. Her work in the
Silicon Valley brought out her hi-tech side so she made
the jump from Kodachrome to digital in 1999, but her
creative side was truly reborn when she first glimpsed
printed canvas in 2002 at a trade show and fell in love
with the process and beauty. About 3 years ago, she gave
up the 8-5 world where she worked in middle management
bringing up new products in the electronics industry to
chase her dream with her art. She believes that
her photography, digital fine art, and acrylic art have
all become extensions of herself. She believes
that with the digital age, the only limits are your
imagination, and that each image carries
its own emotion and speaks to each person with its own
language of the heart.
Her art is now available in galleries world wide. |
